🕊️ ACTS Prayer Guide
The ACTS model—Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication—helps you approach God in a way that’s scripturally grounded, spiritually rich, and deeply personal. Even Jesus used this rhythm when He taught us how to pray.
🙏 A – Adoration
Begin your prayer by focusing on who God is—not on your needs. Worship His holiness, majesty, love, and power. Give Him your full attention and awe.
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.”
—Matthew 6:9
🗣️ Try this: “Father, You are holy and worthy. You rule from heaven with wisdom and justice. I worship You for who You are.”
🧎 C – Confession
Open your heart and acknowledge areas where you’ve fallen short. Confession brings cleansing, humility, and renewed closeness with God.
“And forgive us our debts…”
—Matthew 6:12
🗣️ Try this: “Lord, I confess my selfishness and distractions this week. Forgive me for where I’ve doubted or disobeyed You.”
🙌 T – Thanksgiving
Thank God for what He’s done in your life—answered prayers, provision, growth, even the trials that shaped you. Gratitude unlocks joy.
“Give us today our daily bread.”
—Matthew 6:11
🗣️ Try this: “Thank You for sustaining me today—for food, peace, health, and the people who support me. You are my provider.”
📜 S – Supplication
Bring your requests to God—your needs and the needs of others. Ask boldly and expectantly, knowing He listens and responds.
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done… Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
—Matthew 6:10,13
🗣️ Try this: “Father, lead me today. Protect my family. Provide work, healing, and wisdom. May Your will be done in every area.”
Remember: ACTS is not a script—it’s a rhythm. Use it in personal devotion, prayer calls, or corporate fasting. Let the Lord’s Prayer guide your posture as you walk deeper with Him each day.
