Old Membership Class

Session 1: Our Mission, Vision & Values

📖 Our Mission

Our mission is to win souls for Jesus Christ and to equip every believer to walk in kingdom power, purpose, and maturity. We exist to help others encounter God, grow in faith, and live a life that impacts their families, communities, and the world.

🌍 Our Vision

We envision a thriving, Spirit-led body of believers actively living out their faith with boldness and humility—impacting our generation through love, service, prayer, and the uncompromising Word of God.

💖 Our Core Values

  • Christ-Centered Living: Jesus is the foundation of all we do.
  • Scriptural Integrity: God’s Word is our final authority and guide.
  • Community & Fellowship: We grow stronger together through love, unity, and accountability.
  • Discipleship & Growth: Every believer is called to mature in their walk and multiply their impact.
  • Worship & Prayer: We prioritize God’s presence and power through personal and corporate devotion.
  • Kingdom Service: We joyfully serve God by meeting the needs of others.

As you begin your journey through this Membership Class, keep these truths at heart: you were made with a purpose, you’re deeply loved, and you belong here.

Session 2: What We Believe

Our beliefs form the foundation of everything we teach, practice, and live at House of Praise Epicenter. These are not just statements on paper—they are convictions rooted in Scripture and walked out in everyday life. Here are the key doctrines that unite us:

📖 The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

🌿 God

There is one God—eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

✝️ Jesus Christ

Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again, and now reigns as Lord (John 1:1, 14; Romans 10:9).

🕊️ The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit empowers believers for holy living, bold witness, and spiritual growth (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23).

🙏 Salvation

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works. Salvation is a gift that begins a lifelong journey of transformation (Ephesians 2:8–9).

💦 Baptism

We believe in full immersion water baptism as a public declaration of faith and obedience (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4).

🕊️ Spirit-Filled Living

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of spiritual gifts for every believer (1 Corinthians 12; Acts 2:4).

🌍 The Church

The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, disciple, serve, and evangelize in the world (Ephesians 4:11–13).

Our doctrine is more than theology—it’s the framework for a life surrendered to Jesus. If you’re unsure or still exploring these truths, that’s okay. This journey is about growth and grace.

Session 3: The ACTS Prayer Model

Prayer is not a performance—it’s a relationship. The ACTS model helps us approach God with reverence, honesty, and intention. It brings structure without stifling the Spirit and can guide both personal and corporate prayer lives.

🙏 A – Adoration

We begin by adoring God for who He is. This is about praising His character—His holiness, love, power, faithfulness. Adoration lifts our eyes from our needs and onto our Savior.

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised…” (Psalm 145:3)

🙏 C – Confession

Confession invites us to humbly acknowledge where we’ve fallen short. We bring our sins into the light, receive God’s forgiveness, and ask for strength to turn away from them.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive…” (1 John 1:9)

🙏 T – Thanksgiving

We give thanks for all God has done—His provisions, His mercy, His presence. Gratitude softens our hearts and reminds us of His faithfulness.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1)

🙏 S – Supplication

Now we bring our requests before Him—interceding for others and asking for our own needs. With boldness and trust, we lay everything at His feet.

“Let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6)

The ACTS model isn’t a rule—it’s a rhythm. Use it to grow in your prayer life, deepen your trust, and center your heart in daily communion with God.

Session 4: Life at HOPE – Worship, Fellowship & Growth

Being part of the House of Praise Epicenter family means engaging your faith in vibrant, practical ways. In this session, we explore the rhythms that define life at HOPE and how you can live them out daily.

🎶 Worship

We gather to honor God—not just with songs, but with surrendered hearts and lives. Worship at HOPE is passionate, joyful, and rooted in the Word. Whether through music, giving, or prayer, our goal is to glorify God together.

“Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness…” (Psalm 29:2)

🤝 Fellowship

You weren’t meant to walk alone. At HOPE, we foster authentic relationships through community groups, prayer partnerships, and serving side by side. Fellowship builds belonging and gives you people to lean on—and laugh with—on the journey.

📚 Growth

Faith isn’t a one-time decision—it’s a lifelong pursuit. We commit to equipping every believer through Bible teaching, discipleship pathways, and hands-on learning. From “Equipping the Whole Man” classes to one-on-one mentorship, growth is our expectation and joy.

As a HOPE member, you don’t attend church—you are the Church. And as we live together in worship, fellowship, and growth, we reflect the heart of Christ to the world.

— End of Session 4 —

Session 5: Baptism, Giving & Serving

Faith without action is incomplete. In this session, we turn our hearts and hands outward—responding to God through obedience, generosity, and service.

💧 Baptism

Baptism is a public declaration of your inward faith. It symbolizes dying to the old life and rising in newness with Christ. At HOPE, we celebrate full immersion baptism as a sacred step of obedience and joyful celebration.

“We were buried with Him by baptism into death… that we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4)

If you’ve never been baptized, our team will walk with you through preparation and celebration. Click here to begin your baptism journey.

🎁 Giving

Giving is worship. It reflects trust in God as our provider and fuels the mission to reach others. HOPE members commit to giving joyfully, sacrificially, and consistently—whether online, in person, or through our partnership campaigns.

“God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

💝 Give to HOPE

🛠️ Serving

Each of us is gifted by God to serve. At HOPE, we invite members to discover their spiritual gifts and use them—on stage, behind the scenes, and in the streets. From hospitality to intercession, every role matters. Serving isn’t optional—it’s vital.

“Whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant.” (Matthew 20:26)

Explore Serving Opportunities

Whether you’re stepping into the waters of baptism, giving for the first time, or joining a team—this is where faith comes alive through action.
